Dorothy was born on July 20, 1938 in New Melle, MO to Alvin and Dora Grapenthin. She was a Rural Postal Carrier from 1972 - 1999 and was a Homemaker and Caregiver to many. Dorothy loved her family and cherished times with them. She was most happy being a grandma. She always wanted to make sure there was enough food for all. Dorothy was known for her angel food cakes, hamburger soup, and spaghetti. Dorothy worked hard, was resilient and an inspiration. Dorothy will be forever in our hearts and deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.
