A neighbor, James Holloway age 36, noticed Newspapers piling up in the driveway of the wealthy widow next door and went over to check on her. What he found was one of the most horrifying murder scenes in the History of Greenwood County, SC. The 75 year old woman had been brutally assaulted, beaten, raped, murdered and her body hidden in a bedroom closet.
