Description	:	Dede Kronschnabel, 70, a 28-year resident of Chelan and local Realtor, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 1997, at Central Washington Hospital following a brief illness. She was born Nov. 6, 1926, at Wenatchee, the daughter of Lisle and Edna (Parkhill) Garner. She attended schools for a time at Wenatchee and later moved with her family to Stockton, Calif., where she was graduated from high school. She was born Nov. 6, 1926, at Wenatchee, the daughter of Lisle and Edna (Parkhill) Garner. She attended schools for a time at Wenatchee and later moved with her family to Stockton, Calif., where she was graduated from high school. In 1944, she was married to Al Kronschnabel at El Paso, Texas. Following their marriage, they resided at Pullman, where she completed two years at Washington State College. The family then moved to Wenatchee and resided at Tonasket from 1949 until 1951. They then moved to Seattle, and in 1955, they moved to Chicago. The family resided at Chevy Chase, Md., from 1962 until 1963, when they moved to Pittsburgh, Pa. In 1967, they moved to Wenatchee and since 1968 have resided at Chelan. Dede had been active in real estate on the East Coast and resumed her activity in 1971, first with Johnson's Real Estate in Wenatchee, and later managing the Johnson's Real Estate in Wenatchee and later managing the Johnson's office in Chelan. In 1993, she opened the Kronschnabel Properties in Chelan, which she currently was operating. She was a member of Chelan United Methodist Church and had served as commissioner for Lake Chelan Community Hospital. She had also been a member of Hospital Guild B, and was a past president of the Lake Chelan Realtors Council. Her interests included hunting, fishing, the arts and politics. She was very actively involved in her grandchildren's activities. Survivors include two sons, Michael W., of Larkspur, Colo., and Bradley A., of Chelan; a daughter, Dahnie Deane Kronschnabel, of Gig Harbor; her mother, Edna Garner, of East Wenatchee; four grandchildren, Anne and Garner Kronschnabel, both of Chelan, and Chad and Sean Vencil, both of Larkspur, Colo. She was preceded in death by her father in 1991. Services are under the direction of Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
