She was born Oct. 6, 1916, in Lima to Charles and Bernadine Eickholt Wurst, who preceded her in death. On April 11, 1939, she married Dwight Donald Eversole, who died March 19, 1963. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, where she had been president and secretary of the Altar Rosary Society and the Sacred Heart Home Resident Council and the originator of its bereavement support group. Mrs. Eversole was a homemaker. She was a 1935 graduate of St. Gerard High School. She was the originator of St. Gerard Cub Scout Pack 47. Survivors include 10 children, Donald E. Eversole, of Lima, Charles D. (Laurie) Eversole, of Marion, N.C., Thomas M. (Diana) Eversole, of Cridersville, Barbara K. (Gene) Gross, of Kissimmee, Fla., James F. (Linda) Eversole, of Simpsonville, S.C., Ralph C. (Mary) Eversole and Stephen R. (Broyke) Eversole, both of Lima, Dorothy Edna Shrider, of Orlando, Fla., Janet M. (Matt) Voll, of West Terre Haute, Ind., and Philip A. Eversole, of Hudson, Fla.; and 28 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three children, Martin J., Bruce William and Teresa Marie Eversole; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Eversole; and three brothers, Ralph, Harold and Clarence Wurst. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor or to the Masses.
