Her mother died in 1925, after which the family moved to Des Moines, Iowa. Dorothy was married to Glen Bowers of Ames Oct. 4, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wis. They moved to Ames where Dorothy was a waitress in a cafe for a while. They had two daughters: Marilyn and Dorothy L. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter. Survivors include her husband, Glen; a daughter, Mrs. Max Larson, 231 East 9th St.; and seven grandchildren. Also survive two sisters, Mrs. Dale Hartman, Des Moines; Mrs. Harry Harrison, Glendale, Calif.; a step-mother, Mrs. Sam (Elsie) Burdick, El Cajon, Calif.; a step-brother, Robert Pomeroy, St. Peters, Mo. and a step-sister, Mrs. Paul Grogan, Denver, Colo.
