The service will be Friday, Jan. 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Nevada. She was married Oct. 7, 1933 in Montour, IA, to Carlton Dobson, a retired worker from the Nevada Poultry plant. She was a homemaker. She lived the last 38 years in Nevada. She is survived by her husband, Sheryl George, Darlene Bartmess, Marilyn Bugely, and sons Max and Larry of Nevada; two brothers, Rex Slingluff and Richard Slingluff of Marshalltown; Mother Birdie Slingluff of the Marshall County Care Facility; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
