Read More	The Creston Advertiser-Gazette Monday, April 11, 1921 Funeral for Dorothy Green at Fontanelle Dorothy May Green was born in Creston, Iowa, July 18, 1919, and died in Hollywood hospital, Los Angeles, California, April 2, 1921, at the age of 20 months and 14 days. She was the youngest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. R.E. Green of Monrovia, California. Dr. Green and his family resided in this city for a number of years and was well known here as a successful physician, having been on the medical staff of the Greater Community hospital. She was the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Faurote of Fontanelle, Iowa. The child had been sick for several weeks with a trouble that was similar to meningitis, but although a number of physicians were called for consultation, they were unable to agree on a diagnosis and their efforts to relieve the child's suffering were without affect. She was healthy strong and of a very cheerful disposition. The remains were accompanied back to Fontanelle for burial by her grandfather, B.A. Green, Saturday morning. She leaves to mourn her departure her parents; one sister, Clara, and one brother, Ralph Green Jr., the grandparents, E.R. Faurote and B.A. Green. The funeral services were held at 11 o'clock at the home of her parents at Fontanelle with Rev Owen Thomas officiating, taking for a text Luke 18:16 The following quartette rendered some appropriate music; Mrs. E.D. Walsworth, Miss Helen Freeman, D.L.S. Peek and Arthur Brown. Those present from Creston were Mrs. Ralph Tallman, Mrs. W.K. Keith, Mrs. Harry Rex, Mrs. H.A. Childs, Mrs. Fred Ide, Mrs. J.G. Maerae, Mrs. Ben Glew, Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Thomas, A.B. Hall and Edwin Keith.
