Description	:	WINSLOW - Dorothy H. Michaud, 92, of Augusta Road, Winslow, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015 at Lakewood Manor in Waterville. She was born in Waterville, May 14, 1923, the daughter of John and Isabelle (Dechaine) Michaud. She is survived by two sisters, Doris Kiorpis of Bar Harbor and Verlie Harrison of Naugatuck, Conn. and one brother, James H. Michaud of Waterville. She also had several nieces and nephews of whom have fond memories of being spoiled by Aunt Dot with trips to the beach, ice cream at Rummel's and Christmas's that any child could only dream of. She was born in Waterville, May 14, 1923, the daughter of John and Isabelle (Dechaine) Michaud. She is survived by two sisters, Doris Kiorpis of Bar Harbor and Verlie Harrison of Naugatuck, Conn. and one brother, James H. Michaud of Waterville. She also had several nieces and nephews of whom have fond memories of being spoiled by Aunt Dot with trips to the beach, ice cream at Rummel's and Christmas's that any child could only dream of. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings. Dorothy worked at Keyes Fibre and retired after 42 years. Her work ethic was an inspiration to her family. She was a resident of Lakewood Manor. Her family will be forever grateful to the wonderful staff of Lakewood Manor, Skills Unit. The last years of her life were filled with extraordinary care, lots of love and many close friendships created there. They treated her like family. Upon her request, there will be no service. Committal prayers and burial will be held in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery, 78 Grove St., Waterville. Arrangements are with Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
