Born in Bridgewater, the former Dorothy Helen Manthorne, she was a daughter of the late Lawson and Bertha (Conrad) Manthorne. She is survived by one son, Gerald of Pentz; one daughter, Evelyn (Mrs. Fenton Dorey), Milton, Ont.; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Harry, Bridgewater; Ralph, Lunenburg; four sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Ernest Vidito), Lillian (Mrs. Jerry Carruthers), Verna (Mrs. Ernest du Grenier), all of the United States; Phylis (Mrs. Oscar Arenburg), Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, the former Dorothy Helen Manthorne, she was a daughter of the late Lawson and Bertha (Conrad) Manthorne. She is survived by one son, Gerald of Pentz; one daughter, Evelyn (Mrs. Fenton Dorey), Milton, Ont.; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Harry, Bridgewater; Ralph, Lunenburg; four sisters, Ruth (Mrs. Ernest Vidito), Lillian (Mrs. Jerry Carruthers), Verna (Mrs. Ernest du Grenier), all of the United States; Phylis (Mrs. Oscar Arenburg), Bridgewater. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen and two sisters. The body is resting at Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday from St. Augustine Anglican Church, Conquerall Bank, Rev. Eric Ingraham officiating. Interment in the Maple Leaf cemetery, Conquerall Bank. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer society. With thanks to Ron Zinck and Cathy Walker.
