Description	:	Dorothy H. Marshall, 85, of Draper, died Saturday, Dec. 27, at St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Draper Methodist Church. A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m., at the church Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Draper Methodist Church. Burial will be at Draper Cemetery, followed by a lunch at the Draper Auditorium. Isburg Funeral Chapel of Pierre has been placed in care of the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.isburgfuneralchapels.com. Dorothy H. Gropper was born Dec. 12, 1923, to Ernest and Helen (Broecher) Gropper. She grew up in the Jones County area and graduated from Draper High School in 1942. Dorothy married O.W. "Dub" Marshall June 10, 1942. They were married 43 years. Dub died in 1985. She was a part of the Prairie Home Ladies for more than 60 years, she enjoyed playing cards, especially 500. She loved reading, music and mastering puzzles. She belonged to the Murdo and Pierre Senior Citizens. She is survived by her children: Beverly (Ted) Nies, Dorothy (Larry) Koth, Bill (Jeanette) Marshall and Lee (Paula) Marshall; her brother, Nels Paulson; her sister, Francis Bennett; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dub, her parents, one brother, Jack, one sister, Marjorie, and one great-granddaughter, Samantha. Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church of Draper.
