Description	:	Dorothy I. "Dotty" Buckmaster, age 94, of Lincoln formerly Fremont, NE, died Friday, December 9, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, NE. She was born December 18, 1916 in Pender, Nebraska to Frank and Georgia (Craig) Hill. She grew up in the Clearwater area and was a 1935 Graduate of Clearwater High School. She married John "Dale" Buckmaster February 27, 1935 in Oakdale, Nebraska. After marriage, they farmed near Clearwater before moving to O'Neill in 1941. She was born December 18, 1916 in Pender, Nebraska to Frank and Georgia (Craig) Hill. She grew up in the Clearwater area and was a 1935 Graduate of Clearwater High School. She married John "Dale" Buckmaster February 27, 1935 in Oakdale, Nebraska. After marriage, they farmed near Clearwater before moving to O'Neill in 1941. She moved to Fremont in 1952 where she was an Avon Representative for many years. Dale died August 7, 1978. She lived at Valley, NE for 1 year prior to moving to Lincoln in Sept. of 2010. Dottie was a member of the First United Methodist Church and church circle for over 50 years. Former member of the Elks Club in Fremont. Survivors include: son – Gary and wife Regie Buckmaster of Lincoln, NE; daughter – Virginia and husband Carl Chaney of Valley, NE; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, Dale; 2 sisters – Marjorie Bitney and Daisy Paul; and 1 brother – Buzz Hill. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. The Revs. Michael McGregor and Greg Hall will officiate. Visitation will be from 3-8 P.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2011 and with the family receiving friends from 3-5 P.M. all at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery, Fremont, NE. Moser Memorial Chapel, Fremont is in charge of arrangements. 402-721-4490
