Read More	Obituary Mrs Dorothy Sanders 84 of RD 1 Homer M-99 South widow of John A Sanders, died at 1 am Friday at Coldwater Health Center following an illness of about a week Mrs Sanders was born Oct 5 1886 in Homer Twp the daughter of George and Ida (Janes) Kline. She was graduated from Homer High School in 1904 and later from Hillsdale College School of Music. She was a piano teacher in Homer for many years. On April 22 1922 she was married to Mr Sanders in Detroit and they resided there for two years. The remainder of her life was spent in the Homer ares. Mr Sanders died Jan 6 1964 Mrs Sanders was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Homer and the DAR chapter. Survivors include a son Richard R Sanders and grandson both of her in death. Friends were received at the Tidd Funeral Home in Homer where services were held Monday at 130 pm with the Rev Clifton A Scott officiating. Born in Jackson, he was raised in the Homer area, graduating from Homer High School. He was as a staff sergeant with the Army during World War II. He moved to Marshall 35 years ago after living in Albion a short time. He was a licensed plumber with Local 335 of Battle Creek. He was a member of Moose Lodge 676 and a life member of Disabled American Veterans. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Surviving are his wife, the former Betty Butler, and a son, Rick Sanders of Marshall. Services will be at 1 :30 p.m. Monday at Craig K.
