Mrs. Weston, the daughter of David and Lettie Adams White, was born February 7, 1906, on the family farm west of Skidmore, attended school in the Skidmore area, and graduated from the Skidmore High School in 1924. She was a also a graduate of Northwest Missouri State College, Maryville, taught at several country schools in the Skidmore area, and also taught school several years after her family was raised. On April 27, 1934, she was married to Kenneth martin Weston, and to them were born three children: David Lee Weston of Farragut, Iowa, JoAnn Birkby, Skidney, Iowa, and Roger Allen Weston, Bedford, Texas. Others survivors include her husband, Kenneth W. Weston; one brother, Charles White; a sister, Bessie Feldman; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, including a niece. Mrs. Eddie Staples and cousins, Mrs. Ellouise Robinson and Mrs. Wilma David, all of Mound City. Three brothers, William White, Lloyd Latta, Dale Latta and three sisters, Leita, Eva Davis and Blanche Vansant, preceded her in death. Mrs. Weston had been a member of the Skidmore community all of her life, and was a member of the Burr Oak 4-H Club, and many other community activities. Pallbearers were Randy Weston, Ronald Weston, Marty Weston, David Jackson, Jason Weston, Mike Gordon and Mark Birkby.
