Description	:	Dorothy L. Case, 83 Dorothy L. Case, 83, of Paris, died Aug. 1, 1992, at the Altercare Nursing Home. Graveside service was held Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Benzonia Township Cemetery. She was born May 24, 1909, in Bloomfield, Iowa, the daughter of Samuel and Mamie (Dunn) England. In 1929, she married Alton Case and they made their home in Benzonia until his death in 1949. Case, 83, of Paris, died Aug. 1, 1992, at the Altercare Nursing Home. Graveside service was held Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Benzonia Township Cemetery. She was born May 24, 1909, in Bloomfield, Iowa, the daughter of Samuel and Mamie (Dunn) England. In 1929, she married Alton Case and they made their home in Benzonia until his death in 1949. She then moved to Lansing and was a cook at Michigan State University until retiring in 1971. She then moved to Paris where she had lived since. She was a former member off the Benozonia Congregational Church. Survivors include three daughters, Emily and her husband Ralph Wallace of Paris, Amy and her husband Jim Lether, and Nancy and her husband Larry Czap, both of Beulah; six grandchildren; 10 great-granchildren; one brother, Herbert and his wife Maude England of Alanson; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Hersel England, and a sister, Claire Swaddling. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were handled by the Rogers Mohnke Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
