Description	:	Mrs. Dorothy Dot Louise Wimberley, 83, passed away on January 8, 2018. Dot was born October 12, 1934 in Mayo, Florida to Mr. William Cleveland Jackson and Mary Johnson Jackson. Dot was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a loving wife who enjoyed spending time with her family. She and her husband were foster parents for many years. She was a great cook and was the owner of a local restaurant. Read More	Mrs. Dorothy Dot Louise Wimberley, 83, passed away on January 8, 2018. Dot was born October 12, 1934 in Mayo, Florida to Mr. William Cleveland Jackson and Mary Johnson Jackson. Dot was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was a loving wife who enjoyed spending time with her family. She and her husband were foster parents for many years. She was a great cook and was the owner of a local restaurant. Dot was preceded in death by her parents Mr. William Cleveland Jackson and Mary Johnson, her daughter Bonnie Karen Lee, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Thomas Elton Wimberley; one son Steven Wimberly (Maria), one brother Foye Jackson, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many foster children as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Airline Baptist Church with Rev. Orvis Amerson and Rev. Lamar 'Cooter' McCray officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Airline Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Burns Funeral Home of Mayo. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry. Joe P Burns Funeral Home, Mayo, Florida.
