Dorothy Mae Tolzin was born April 5, 1930 at Volga, SD to Earl and Ruby (Nelson) Tolzin. She was baptized at North Preston Lutheran Church and confirmed at Lake Preston Lutheran Church. Read More	Dorothy M Tolzin, 82 a former Sioux Falls and Lake Preston resident died Saturday, July 7,2012 at the DeSmet Good Samaritan Center in DeSmet, SD. Dorothy Mae Tolzin was born April 5, 1930 at Volga, SD to Earl and Ruby (Nelson) Tolzin. She was baptized at North Preston Lutheran Church and confirmed at Lake Preston Lutheran Church. She attended rural schools in North Preston and Lake Preston areas before graduating from Lake Preston High School in 1948. Following graduation, she attended Mankato Business College. In 1949, she moved to Sioux Falls where she began working for Wilson Trucking Company, which later became All-American Transport. She worked there for 43 years before retiring in 1992. While in Sioux Falls, she was a member of First Lutheran Church and also a member of the Sons of Norway. In 2009, she moved to the Good Samaritan Center in DeSmet. She then became a member of Lake Preston Lutheran Church. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, attending sporting events and spending time on the farm with family. Survivors include three brothers, Marvin (Ardell) Tolzin, Blaine (Phyllis) Tolzin and Dennis (Rose) Tolzin all of Lake Preston, SD; a special friend, Rosella Wattier of Webster, SD; 14 nieces and nephews and numerous cousins. Her parents, one sister Beverly and two nieces preceded her in death. Funeral services for Dorothy Tolzin will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Lake Preston Lutheran Church with Pastor Wanda McNeill officiating, burial will be in the Lake Preston Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Johnson-Henry Funeral Chapel in Lake
