Her marriage to Gordon Klingman was at Frankfort on March 23, 1932, and he died June 14, 1975 Mrs. Klingman had been a secretary in the athletic ticket office at Purdue University before retiring in 1974. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Eagles Auxiliary, Ladies Elks, and American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are two sons, James Klingman of Lafayette and Terry Klingman of Danville, IN; two sisters, Margaret Maxwell of Lebanon and Lucille Hill of Kokomo; one brother, Ernest Doyle of Mulberry; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. --Lafayette Journal & Courier - Mon 9/19/1988, page 16
