High school sweethearts, Dorothy and Gene were married September 10, 1955, at St. Patrick’s church in Elkhorn, Nebraska. While Gene was in the Navy they lived in Long Beach, California. They settled in Elkhorn where they lived until being transferred to Houston, Texas in 1978. After retiring they relocated to Auburn, Alabama and then to Bella Vista, Arkansas.
