Description	:	Dorothy was born Sept. 17, 1919, in Dayton, Wash., to Harry and Grace (Terry) Davis. She grew up in Dayton, where she graduated from high school. She enjoyed going to barn dances, riding horses and was proud to have served as Dayton Days Queen. On April 26, 1946, Dorothy married Bill McRae. Over the years, they have made their home in Walla Walla, Milton-Freewater, Ore., and for most of their lives, in Pomeroy. Her husband, Bill, was a station agent for the Union Pacific Railroad.
