She was born Jan. 2, 1926, in Ballantine, the daughter of George J. and Lydia Hofferber Oblander. She was raised in Ballantine and graduated from Huntley Project High School in 1944. On Feb. 20, 1946, she married Milbert Naasz in Worden and they farmed east of Worden until moving into town in 1977. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, her yard work, especially her family. Dorothy was a life member of Bethlehem Congregational Church in Worden. She was active with the women's groups, sang in the choir and was superintendent of the Sunday School for several years. She was also a member of the Worden Senior Citizens. She is survived by her son, Larry and his wife, Rose of Billings; four grandchildren, Brandon of the family home, Susan of Missoula, Killian of Boston and Connie of Springfield, MO.; three brothers, Harold Oblander and Tom Oblander and his wife, Linda, all of Ballantine; sister-in-law, Lucenda Propp and husband, Henry of Steele, N.D.; brother-in-law Ervin Naasz and wife Betty of Worden; brother-in-law, Gene Shima of Billings; a very special aunt, Lydia Walters and her family of Ballantine; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Bethlehem Congregational Church in Worden. Interment will be at Pleasantview Cemetery, in Ballantine, MT. Smith Downtown Chapel in charge of arrangements. Memorials to the Worden Ambulance or Bethlehem Congregational Church in Worden.
