Pastor Ken Miller will officiate with burial in Greenhill Cemetery. DOROTHY ROSIN was born February 28, 1914 at Hebron, ND to Jacob and Magdalena (Kolb) Rosin. She moved from Hebron to northeastern South Dakota. She was united in marriage to Reinhold Seidel. Dorothy worked as a waitress for many years and also worked with her husband Reiny on the farm. After selling the farm, they built and operated a gas station on Highway 12 in Lemmon. Reiny passed away on October 24, 1967, and she continued to operate the station until selling it in the early 1970's, after which she did some traveling. She enjoyed doing craft work, sewing, and made her own clothing for many years. In 1995, she entered Five Counties Nursing Home in Lemmon where she did a lot of reading of paperback books and played a lot of solitaire and other card games. In May of 2006, she moved to Gettysburg where she resided at the Oahe Manor. Dorothy passed from this life there on Sunday, January 13th, 2008. She is survived by two sons, Vernon Seidel, Jamestown, TN; Alvin Seidel, Perham, MN; three daughters, Elinor Seidel, Albuquerque, NM; Dorothy Stacy, address unknown; and Janet Rosin, Blunt, SD; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
