Description	:	Orchard News Loughrey - - Schwager The attractively decorated altar of the Ewing Methodist church was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Thursday P.M., September 6 for the double ring ceremony of Miss Dorothy Schwager, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Schwager, of Orchard, to Duward Loughrey, son of Mrs. Rose Loughrey of Ewing, Nebraska. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C.W. Gossard. The bride was attired in a gray suit with black accessories. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C.W. Gossard. The bride was attired in a gray suit with black accessories. Mrs. Carl Schwager, the bride's sister-in-law, was maid of honor and was attired in a tan suit with brown accessories. The groom wore a full military uniform. Carl Schwager, brother of the bride, was best man and wore a blue pinstriped suit. After the ceremony a beautiful luncheon was served at the home of the groom's mother. The center piece being the wedding cake which was baked by Mr. and Mrs. Gene Baber of Plainview. A wedding shower was given the newlyweds Friday night of the last week sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Millard DePeel, to which about seventy-five guests were present. Ice cream and cake was served to those present. The young couple were showered by a large number of beautiful and useful gifts. After giving them all manner of advice, the guests departed for their respective homes. Mr. and Mrs. Loughrey will make their home at South Camp Hood, Texas, where the groom will report for duty the 15th of this month.
