Description	:	Born Feb. 5, 1923 in Decorah, she was the daughter of the late Mabel Rickabough Shevik Etteldorf and the late James Shevik. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her twin brother, Robert; brother Harland and stepfather Al Etteldorf, Sr. She graduated from Decorah High School in 1942. She also attended the University of Dubuque and the Norwegian American Hospital in Chicago for nurse's training. Most of her adult life, she lived in Chicago, Ill., and Upper Darby, Pa.
