Born July 20, 1928, in Cherokee County, SC; daughter of the late William Herman Black (1901–1989) and Virginia Irene McDaniel Black (1904–1973); wife of the late Horace Warren Anthony (1923–1976). Graveside services were held at 1:00 pm, Monday, February 23, 2004, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Rev. Gregory Dry, Sr., Rev. D. J. Horton, and Rev. Ralph Jett.
