Description	:	MAYODAN Dorothy Welch Landreth, age 87, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at her home. A 2:00 p.m. memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Ray Funeral Home with Reverend Randy Jessup officiating. An inurnment will follow at Mayodan Municipal Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Dorothy was born in Roanoke, Virginia on March 16, 1931, to the late Jones and Eva Crews Welch. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, William Wade Landreth; her daughter, Vicki Penn; and her grandson, Mitch Rivenburg. She is survived by her three sons, Tim Landreth and wife, Sybil, of Madison; Charles Landreth of the home and Scott Landreth of Mayodan; four grandchildren, Brock Landreth, Josh Landreth, Marty Carter and Chris Carter; and one great-grandson, Gage Rivenburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Mayodan, 101 S. 1st Avenue, Mayodan, NC 27027. Ray Funeral Home in Madison is serving the Landreth family and all are invited to share memories or offer condolences at www.rayfuneralhome.com.
