Description	:	Dortha Elizabeth White, daughter of Fred and Leetha E. (Mitchell) White, was born March 3, 1918, in Davis County, Ia., and died Monday, November 18, 1991 in a Bloomfield, Ia., nursing home at the age of 73 years. Surviving are many nieces and nephews; one aunt, Martha Mullenis; and one half-sister, Elva White. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Fred White Jr., John White, and Jimmy White; one sister, Cleo Hubbartt; three half-sisters, Anna Lyons, Delpha White, and Lelah Howell; one uncle, Leonard Mitchell; and two aunts, Emma Mitchell and Mabel Sorrell. Surviving are many nieces and nephews; one aunt, Martha Mullenis; and one half-sister, Elva White. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Fred White Jr., John White, and Jimmy White; one sister, Cleo Hubbartt; three half-sisters, Anna Lyons, Delpha White, and Lelah Howell; one uncle, Leonard Mitchell; and two aunts, Emma Mitchell and Mabel Sorrell. Her early years were spent on a farm in the southern part of Davis County, Ia., where she attended Howell school. After the death of her father, she and her mother moved to Lancaster where she remained until the death of her mother on March 7, 1960. She then went to the home of her niece and nephew, Max and Marie Hubbartt, where she made her home for several years. Graveside services were held Wednesday, November 20, 1991, in Howell Cemetery, Davis County, Ia., with the Rev. John Robinson, pastor of Lancaster Christian Church, officiating. Bearers were Ronnie Hubbartt, Joe Dean White, Jackie White, Donnie White, Max Hubbartt, and Jason Conley. Norman Funeral Home, Lancaster, was in charge of the service.
