Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery. Douglas was born at Marysville on July 19, 1934, to Uhl and Vera (Warren) Totten. He graduated Marysville High School and served with the U.S. Army in Germany. On July 25, 1954, Doug was united in marriage to Phyllis Moehlenstedt at Marysville. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Masons. Preceding him in death was his parents; and sister, Lorene McCarthy. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; son, David Totten, Marysville; daughter, Diane Offutt, Olathe; four grandchildren, Derek, Dana, Hunter and Heather and two great grandchildren. A memorial fund is established and will be designated later. Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary, Marysville.
