Born Aug. 10, 1930, in Monticello, he was the son of George Dahlenburg and Delpha Elston. On Jan. 30, 1954, he married Arlene Faker, who preceded him in death on March 30, 1986. On Jan. 29, 1970, he married June (Roadifer) Roudebush, who preceded him in death on Feb. 23, 2007. Dahlenburg, 81, Logansport, passed away at 4:08 p.m. Monday at the Memorial Hospital emergency room, Logansport. Born Aug. 10, 1930, in Monticello, he was the son of George Dahlenburg and Delpha Elston. On Jan. 30, 1954, he married Arlene Faker, who preceded him in death on March 30, 1986. On Jan. 29, 1970, he married June (Roadifer) Roudebush, who preceded him in death on Feb. 23, 2007. He retired from NIPSCO after 37 year of service as a field operator at the underground storage facility in Royal Center. He was a United States Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the American Legion Post No. 60 and a lifetime member of the VFW No. 1728 in Winamac. Doug enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling. Survivors include four sons, David Dahlenburg (Amy), of Fountaintown, Mark Dahlenburg (Trish), of Lafayette, Lon Roudebush (Judy), of Royal Center, and Rock Roudebush, of Star City; five daughters, Linda Branson (Walt), of Fort Wayne, Mary Kay Towne (Don), of Rochester, Bryn Zellers, of Winamac, Troy Hegge (Robin), of Sundance, Wyo., and Heidi Jones (Brian), of Melbourne, Fla.; one sister, Lucille Fisher (Herb), of Brookston, Fla.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Joe Dahlenburg and Tad Roudebush; and two sisters, Audrey Barlow and Beulah Carlisle. Arrangements by the Gundrum Funeral Home.
