Williams, former Montgomery County Commissioner who died Wednesday at his home near Etchison. Services were conducted at 2 o'clock at the home of his son Jerry T. Williams, near Etchison. Rev. Williams, 80, a former Montgomery County commissioner, died yesterday at his home near Etchison, Md., after an illiness of several months. a life-long resident of Montgomery County. Mr. Williams was active in Democratic politics for many years. He served on the Board of County Commissioners from 1927 to 1934. Mr. Williams was a retired farmer. He served as a trustee of the Mount Lebanon Methodist Church near his home and was for 35 years a member of the Modern Woodmen of the World. A widow, Mr. Williams is survived by a sister, Mrs. Fannie Lois Williams Fulks, Gaithersburg; four daughters and four sons. They are Mrs. Bradley Claytus Brandenburg, Kemptown, Md.; Mrs. Katherine Elizabeth Williams Brandenburg, Washington; James L. Williams, Woodfield, Md.; Mrs. Harold Mullinix, Mrs. Merrhle Burdette and Osborne E. Williams, all of Damascus, and Jerry T. and Edward C. Williams, Etchison. Also Surviving are 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren Funeral serice will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the home of Jerry T. Williams. Burial will be in Mount Lebanon Cemetery. Williams, well known and highly respected retired farmer and former member of the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners, died at his home, near Etchison, early Wednesday at the age of 80 years. Mr. Williams, a life long resident of Montgomery County, was born in Browningsville, in 1870, a son of the late Jeremiah and Cordelia Baker Williams. He was the husband of the late Frances E. Williams who has been deceased several years. He was alive-long Democrat and very active in the county politics, He served as a member of the Board of County Commissioners from 1927 to 195. Mr. Williams was a member of the Modern Woodmen for 35 years and a member of Lebanon Methodist church. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Clayius Brandenburg, Kemptown; Mrs. Katherine Brandenburg, Washington; Jerry Williams, near Etchison; Mrs. Harold Mullinix, Near Damascus; Osborne E. Williams, Damascus; Edward C. Williams, Near Etchison; James L. Williams, Woodfield and Mrs. Merhle Burdette, Damascus. Also surviving are one sister, Mrs. Fannie Fulks, Gaithersburg, 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body rests at the home of his son Jerry T. Williams where services will be held on Friday, at 2 p.m. Interment Mt. Lebanon cemetery. Olin L. Molesworth, funeral director
