On July 3, 1983 he married Wanda Arnett and she survives. Doyle retired in 2008 from Delco Electronics in Kokomo. He was a member of the Tipton High School Class of '75. Doyle enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, boating, and camping. He was an avid Notre Dame Football fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR, with the late Dale Earnhardt and his son Dale Jr. being his favorite drivers. Surviving besides his wife Wanda are his mother, Wilma Dane, Tipton; one son Derek Dane, Tipton; one sister Karen Dixon and husband Steve, Tipton; brother Kevin Dane and wife Angie, Noblesville; several nieces and nephews including a special niece Kristy Carpenter. Doyle was preceded in death by his father Clem Dane. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11 at Young-Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Ward presiding and burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, 6525 E. 82nd Street, Suite 115, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46250 or the Cicero Township Volunteer Fire Department, 750 Development Drive, Tipton, Indiana, 46072.
