Description	:	Born in Mechanicsville. Got his MD in 1883 from Howard University and did his residency at German Hospital in Philadelphia. Practiced in Lawrence, Essex, MA and was a Fellow of the Massachusetts Medical Society. Jul 1888 removed to Brighton, Montgomery, MD and purchased "Roslyn" and 96.5 acres from his father in 1889, and continued to practice his profession.
