Description	:	Benjamin Franklin Stutzman, one of a family of eleven children, was born on January 4, 1863, at Sugar Creek, Holmes county, Ohio, on the same farm birth-place as his father and grandfather. Taking up the study of veterinary surgery, he received his diploma from the Ontario Veterinary College, Toronto, Canada, on March 29, 1889. Read More	Benjamin Franklin Stutzman, one of a family of eleven children, was born on January 4, 1863, at Sugar Creek, Holmes county, Ohio, on the same farm birth-place as his father and grandfather. Taking up the study of veterinary surgery, he received his diploma from the Ontario Veterinary College, Toronto, Canada, on March 29, 1889. Dr. Stutzman was united in marriage with Miss Emma Schultz on August 6, 1891. One son, George H., was born to them, who died fifteen years ago when the family were living at Cozad, Nebraska. After practicing his profession in serval communities in Nebraska, the family made their home in Fairmont many years ago. Quite suddenly death came to him on Friday evening, February 24, 1933, at the age of seventy years, one month and twenty days. He is survived by his wife, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren; two sisters; two brothers, besides nieces, nephews and other relatives. At one time in his earlier life, Dr. Stutzman had united with the faith of the Mennonite church. Besides the considerable number of relatives, a very large attendance of old friends and neighbors came for the funeral services which were held on Monday afternoon at the home and in the Fairmont Methodist church, the pastor, Rev. J. Henry Stitt, officiating. A kindly expressed message of sympathy was received by the family from Bishop Lapp of the Mennonite faith, who was unavoidable prevented from attendance. A number of members of the Mennonite Church were present. The class of sophomores of Fairmont high school, and a guard of honor of the Royal Neighbors, also attending. Hymns were sung by Mesdames Mabel Quinlan and George Carney, Oliver Moul and Charles Bushnell, with Miss Elsie Bender, pianist. Pallbearers were Messrs. L.M. Farrar, E.W. Nichols, C.B. Nichols, H. Moor, A.C. Abbott and H. Garrett. Interment was made in Fairmont cemetery.
