Description	:	Bradley Schmidt, known as "Brad," died at the age of 42, from a Heart Attack. He was the son of Betty L. (Tiezen) Schmidt and Dr. Robert J. Schmidt. He graduated from Marion High School in 1984. During his High School years, he recieved numerous awards for Atheletics, Academics, and Musical abilities. He married Pamela R. Skelton on June 6th, 1987. He attended Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa, where he played Basketball and Baseball. He returned to his hometown of Marion, South Dakota, following in his fathers footsteps. He joined in practice at the Edward D. Tiezen Clinic, with his father, as a fifth generation Chiropractor. His father retired in 1997, as Brad continued his Practice there. The Govenor appointed him on the South Dakota Board of Examiners. Brad was a lifetime member of the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, in Marion, South Dakota, and was a Choir Member, Sunday School Teacher, Deacon, and Elder. Brad enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching, and golf. He was a lifelong fan of the Duke Blue Devils. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Schmidt. He is survived by: His wife of almost 21 years, Pamela Schmidt of Marion, South, Dakata, four sons, Broderick Schmidt, Braden Schmidt, Brennan Schmidt, and Braxton Schmidt, his father, Robert Schmidt, and a brother, Brian Schmidt.
