Dr Calvert was a graduate of the Atlanta Dental College and entered into practice in Abbeville. He was a son of the late Augustus F Calvert and Susen Nickles Calvert, pioneer families of Abbeville County. His wife is Mrs Lulie Calloway Calvert. Surviving besides his wife: 3 daughters, Mrs R M Compton of Birmingham, AL; Mrs C C Parler of Hampton and Miss Janet Calvert of Abbeville; 1 brother, A O Calvert of Abbeville; 1 sister, Mrs Sallie Calvert Moore of Ware Shoals.
