He was aged a little over 49 years. He had resided in our town about four years during most of that time being the only resident dentist. When his physician informed him that he had the germs of consumption, he immediately closed up his business and started out under their advice to seek health in the mountains of Arizona and new Mexico, but he secured no relief and came home to die.... Dr. Foster was born and grew up in the town of Corydon, Iowa, but later went to school and later graduated in dentistry. He married his wife, who survives him, at Dawn, Mo., in 1894. His wife, four children, four brothers and two sisters survive him. The Doctor was a quiet and courteous citizen and made many close friends here. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church by the pastor, W.T.
