Description	:	Dr. Gordon Edward Greenwood, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, September 14th, at E.T. York Haven Hospice Care Center. He was born in Jasonville, Indiana on August 21, 1935. He is survived by his loving wife, Rev. Priscilla Normandy Greenwood; a sister and brother-in-law, Melody (Greenwood) and Larry Coffey of Metarie, Louisiana; sons Richard Roy Greenwood of Gainesville, Florida and Donald Edward Greenwood, of Norcross, Georgia, and their mother Linda Jane Greenwood of Duluth, Georgia; stepdaughters, Kimberli "Kiki" Carter Webb and husband Greg Webb, Webb Lake, Minnesota; and Priscilla Ann Wise, Gainesville, Florida; spiritual daughter, Rev. Debra Normandy and her husband Michael Normandy of Kings Park, New York; two stepsons, Randall Stewart Wilson, Gainesville, Florida, and Darrell Thomas Wilson, Spokane, Washington, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and his forever friends, Walter Busby, Lonnie Lockett, Tom Fillmer, Philip Bahr, and cousins Barton and Dixie (Greenwood) Richardson. Dr. Greenwood was preceded in death by his parents, Annette Rose (Goodman) and Arthur Lee Greenwood; grandparents Maud Edna (Armstrong) and Samuel Newmeyer Goodman; Martha Ellen (Fiscus) and Joseph Newton Greenwood, all from Jasonville; and his eldest son, Joseph Arthur Greenwood of Atlanta, Georgia. After receiving his doctorate from Indiana University, Greenwood served as Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Florida College of Education for 33 years. While at UF, he was active in teaching and research. He was also an acclaimed author of textbooks on the case study method for teacher decision-making. Greenwood was named to Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World. He was a member of American Educational Research Association, American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and Association for Past-Life Research and Therapies. Gordon believed in reincarnation and had a practice in past-life regression hypnosis therapy. He was an extensive reader and focused on comparative religions and ancient histories of the world. He and his wife, Priscilla, shared interests in genealogy research, geocaching, and traveling, especially taking ocean cruises. They never spent a day apart in their 31-year marriage. As a direct descendant of 15 Revolutionary War patriots, Greenwood had long been a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, serving as Regional Vice President of the Florida Society and President of the Gainesville Chapter. He was also accepted into the Order of the Crown of Charlemagne, the Baronial Order of Magna Charta, and Descendants of the Knights of the Bath. Gordon led a deeply spiritual life and was an active member of the Seraphim Center in Gainesville, Florida. When asked about his beliefs around his approaching death, Gordon said, "It's all energy. Einstein said, 'Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another,' I believe I will wake up in another life, with the Creator of everything that I call All-That-Is. I hope I will be meeting my parents and son, Joe." In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dr. Greenwood's name may be gifted to the E.T.
