Read More	TAYLOR HARLAN GOODRIDGE TAYLOR, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 1992 at his son's home in Salt Lake City, Utah at the age of 68 years. He was born on May 14, 1923 in Lakeview, Utah, a son of Frank R. and Zettella G. Taylor. He moved to Raymond when he was three years old where his father was employed by the Utah-Idaho Sugar Factory. He achieved his elementary and secondary education in Raymond. He married Margaret Wing on June 19, 1948 in the Cardston Alberta Temple. He graduated in medicine from the University of Alberta in 1948 at the age of 25. This was followed by an internship at Brooke General Hospital at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. He also completed a residency in general surgery at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. He practiced medicine in Raymond for 43 years and served as Chief of Staff at the Raymond Municipal Hospital as well as serving on the Hospital Board for many years. His selfless dedication to the care and healing of the sick has touched many lives. As a member of Rotary Club, he participated in many projects that were of great benefit to the community. One of his most significant accomplishments was spearheading the building of the Raymond swimming pool. He was an active member of the L.D.S. Church serving in many leadership positions. His special love for eight years was for the Venturing Program and for the many Ventures who were members of his troop during that time. He was an advocate of physical fitness, and enjoyed running and participating in the Raymond Annual 10 Km race. He also loved to scuba dive. He particularly enjoyed his family and spent many happy hours water and snow skiing with them. He was known for his kind and gentlemanly ways. His beautiful tulip garden brightened the early spring days. He is survived by his wife, Margaret and five children: Richard (Deanne) of Salt Lake City, Barbara Kay (Rand) Ward of Orem, Utah, Michele (Ronn) Hartley of Laguna Hills, California, Scott, of Provo, Utah, and Robert (Loriann) of Costa Mesa, California; 14 grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Willis, and four sisters: Shirley Anderson, Kathleen Newman, Carolyn Wallace and Marolyn Frogley. He was predeceased by his father and mother, and two children, Nancy Ann and William Gordon. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, RAYMOND STAKE CENTRE, Raymond, on Saturday, April 11, 1992 at 1:00 p.m. with Bishop Brett Drewry officiating.
