He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver Wendell Vandine and Maude Angeline Black Vandine. Dr. Vandine is survived by his loving wife of sixty three years, Eleanor Edith Gray Vandine; Eight children; thirty three grandchildren; twenty nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Dr.Vandine practiced dentistry in several places. While practicing in Evansville, Minnesota he also served as the Mayor. He spent the last twenty five years in private practice in Rome. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Dr. Vandine”s service will be held at a later date in Kanopolis, Kansas. Interment will take place in the Kanopolis City Cemetery. The Oaknoll Chapel of Miller and Richards Funeral Home and Cremation Services is serving the family of Dr. Homer Wendell Vandine.
