The death of Dr. Stonestreet is deeply deplored. Throughout his practice here for the last 20 years, when he came here from Charles county, he had been especially charitable to the poor. Dr. Stonestreet was the Republican School Commissioner of the county. He was a son of the late B. G. Stonestreet, a former clerk of court of Charles county, and is survived by a widow and three children. His widow was a Miss Wood, a daughter of the late Dr. Vinton Wood, of Barnesville. His funeral is to take place Friday and burial will be in Monocacy Cemetery at Beallsville. Services are to be held at his home.
