Description	:	The Eureka Herald, Oct. 3, 2002 Dr. Raymond M. "Doc" Stover, 98, of West Point, Neb., died Sept. 24, 2002 at Life Care Center of Omaha, Neb. He was born Sept. 14, 1904 at Sutton, Neb., the son of Emil and Mary (Gunderman) Stover and graduated from Sutton High School in 1922. In 1927 he graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa and both the T.B. Schrader Chiropractic Clinic in Feb. of that same year in West Point. "Doc" Stover, 98, of West Point, Neb., died Sept. 24, 2002 at Life Care Center of Omaha, Neb. He was born Sept. 14, 1904 at Sutton, Neb., the son of Emil and Mary (Gunderman) Stover and graduated from Sutton High School in 1922. In 1927 he graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa and both the T.B. Schrader Chiropractic Clinic in Feb. of that same year in West Point. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Mugge on June 10, 1928 in Des Moines, Iowa. She preceded him in death in 1979. On November 28, 1982, he married Patricia Potter at Omaha, Neb. He retired from the Stover Chiropractic Clinic in West Point in 2000. He was a member of the Elkhorn Valley Assembly of God Church in West Point and the Gideons. He previously served on the West Point School board and was a Boy Scout volunteer, a member of the Lions, charter member of the Cuming Choraliers, and was instrumental with the Red Cross Food Pantry in West Point, Neb., he received the West Point Chamber of Commerce Award and was a member of the Trinity Church in West Point, Neb., where he held several offices. He is survived by his wife Pat of West Point; daughter Sally Grundy of Eureka; son Dr. Robert Stover of Lincoln, Neb.; brother Lester Stover of Black River Falls, Wis.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Marjorie; son Raymond and brother Armon. Services were held Saturday, Sept. 28 at Stalp Funeral Home in West Point, Neb., with Rev. Randy Brontzman officiating. Burial followed in the Mount Hope Cemetery in West Point.
