Description	:	Robert Camden McCall was the son of Stephen and Priscilla Lang McCall of Gainesville, Florida. On April 23, 1878, in Savannah, Georgia, Robert C. McCall married Nettie H. Wade, daughter of Seaborn Howard Wade and Josephine Goldwire Wade of Savannah, GA. They were joined in marriage by Rev. Timothy Harley, pastor of the Baptist Church in Savannah. R.C. McCall occupations in life were salesman and physican. Dr. McCall died at the age of 66 from cancer of the liver, pancreas and intestines. He was buried on June 18, 1921 in Rosemont Cemetery in Union, South Carolina. Dr. Robert M'Call Yields To Death Friday, June 17, at 3 o'clock, the spirit of Dr. R.C. McCall passed to the life beyond. Dr. McCall died at his home at Union, S.C. after an illness of some weeks. News of his death brought sorrow to his many friends here and in this section. Dr. McCall was about 66 years old and was a native of Florida. He and his family lived in Quitman for a number of years and about fifteen years ago moved to Union. Dr. McCall was a man of unusually fine character; broad minded in his viewpoint, generous and understanding, he had a great many very appreciative friends. He was a man of high attainments and was a practicing physician until ill health forced him to give up this work. He married Miss Nettie Wade, of Savannah, sister of Mrs. W.T. Thompson, of Quitman. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. K.W. Cawthorn, of Warsaw, N.C., Mrs. Will H. Perrin and Mrs. J.H. Fant, of Union, S.C., and thirteen grandchildren. Dr. McCall was connected with the widely known McCall family, those of Quitman and other cities in this section. After moving to Union, Dr. McCall joined the Presbyterian Church. The funeral services took place at Union at 6 o'clock Saturday afternoon. June 24, 1921 p. 15, col. 3, Friday morning Quiman Free Press Quitman, GA Vol. XLV-No. 25
