Description	:	Rev. Dr. Robert W. Peck, of North Tonawanda and Newfane, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital. He was 75. Born in the little town of East Poultney, Vermont and raised to age 22 in the town of Castleton, on Lake Bomoseen, he was the older of two sons born to Frederick R. Peck and Etta L. Moore. His advanced education consisted of the following: BA of Science degree from Castleton State College, Castleton, VT, 1960; Master of Theology degree from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary, Chicago, 1967; Presbyterian Church Polity (government of the church) McCormick Theological Seminary, Chicago, 1968; Doctor of Theology, Evansville, IN, Trinity Theological Seminary 1980 (Inter-denominational); ordained by the Presbytery of Chicago at the Kelvyn Park Presbyterian Church, Chicago, July 7, 1987. He served the Kelvyn Park Presbyterian Church, Chicago, IL, 1969-1974; Walnut Hills Presbyterian Church, Cincinnati, OH, 1974-1980; Eastminster Presbyterian Church, Madisonville, IL, Interim, 1980-81; First Presbyterian Church, New Philadelphia, OH, 1981-1991; First Presbyterian Church, Springville, NY, 1992-2004, when he formerly retired. He served as Interim or Supply at Lockport First Presbyterian Church, Lockport, NY; Lafayette Presbyterian Church, Buffalo and Bacon Memorial Presbyterian, where he was named Pastor Emeritus, Niagara Falls. Survivors include his wife, Carol (Byers) Peck; three children, Rebecca Illsley of IL; James Peck of Poultney, VT; Betsy Litzinger (John) of Hamburg, NY; six grandchildren; two great- grandchildren and his church family from Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church.
