He was a graduate of Clinton High School and Little Rock Medical College and first practiced medicine at Appleton, Ark. for several years then came to Cardon Bottom where he retired in 1940. Funeral was 3 p.m. Sunday At Cornwell Funeral Chapel, by Rev. Jimmy Short. Burial was in Brearley. Casket Bearers were William Hickey, Herman McGohan, Roy Grimes, Jack and Gordon Crain and J. R. Underwood.
