Description	:	Galbraith, Thomas Maxwell Dr. 1878 - 1952 Thomas Maxwell Galbraith was born at Thornbury, Ontario on January 19, 1878, son of Maxwell Galbraith and Elizabeth Somerville. He received his early education at Meaford and his Arts Degree at Queen’s University and spent two years teaching science at Gananoque and Port Hope. He studied Medicine with the Class of 1910 at Queen’s and was united in marriage to Mary Anne Gaskin on December 18, 1912. He served his community as Jail Surgeon, County Coroner and was Past-President of the Lennox and Addington County Medical Association and a member of the Council of the Ontario Medical Association. Dr. Thomas Maxwell Galbraith died on July 2, 1952, aged 74 years, 5 months and 13 days.
