WALTER CHARLES NEVIN, 65, prominent physician of Lisbon, died at 4 a.m. Monday at the Central Clinic Hospital, Salem, where he was taken Friday evening after suffering a severe stroke of paralysis at his office, Lisbon, from which he never regained consciousness. Dr. Nevin, son of JOHN and DUIRA BREWSTER NEVIN, was born Sept. 1, 1862, at New Waterford and had spent practically all of his life in Lisbon and vicinity. He had practiced medicine in Lisbon for 40 years. Dr. Nevin was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, State Medical Society, Columbiana County Medical Society, charter member of the Lisbon Kiwanis Club and of the Lisbon Driving Club. He was a close friend of the late Dr. Yaggi of Salem and it had just been six months to the day since Dr. Yaggi's death. Besides his widow, MRS. DELLA MORROW NEVIN, Dr. Nevin is survived by one son, BRUCE, and his mother. The body was taken Monday morning to the home, West Lincoln Way, Lisbon, and funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Presbyterian Church in charge of Rev. John M. Cameron, pastor, assisted by Rev. P. W. Cacaulay of Cleveland, former pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Lisbon; interment in the Lisbon Cemetery.
