WESLEY SHORT. Dr. Wesley Short, brother of Hon. Luther Short, whose illness was mentioned in last week’s issue, died Friday at his home near Bedford. He was sixty-six years of age and had long been a prominent physician. He was a surgeon in the civil war and after its close had continuously resided in Lawrence county practicing his profession with much success. Death was due to heart disease from which he had been a sufferer many years.
