Description	:	Son of Floyd and Clara (Rainey) Becker. He was raised on the family farm and later graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1953. He married Sally Fulton in 1954 and they had 5 children. Doc attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and graduated in 1957. He then completed Medical school and his internship at the University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha in 1962. He was a member of the first group of doctors to be Board Certified in Family Practice. Doc began his practice in Lynch, NE in 1963. He loved the area and resided there with his family... Read More	Son of Floyd and Clara (Rainey) Becker. He was raised on the family farm and later graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1953. He married Sally Fulton in 1954 and they had 5 children. Doc attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and graduated in 1957. He then completed Medical school and his internship at the University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha in 1962. He was a member of the first group of doctors to be Board Certified in Family Practice. Doc began his practice in Lynch, NE in 1963. He loved the area and resided there with his family for 16 years during which time he also served two years in the US Army. Dr. Becker had a special interest in airplanes and obtained his pilot's license during this time. He also enjoyed tractors and riding all sorts of motorized vehicles. He especially enjoyed spending time at his ranch with family and friends. Doc and his family moved to Norfolk in 1979, and he practiced medicine in the Norfolk area until his retirement in 2003. He then worked part-time at the Urgent Care Center in Norfolk. He served the area for many years as an Aviation Medical Examiner. Dr. Becker is survived by his wife Sally; daughter Delight and Greg Hull of O'Neill, NE and their children, Lex, Clifton, Jaxsen, and Rainey; son Barton and Paula Becker of O'Neill, NE and their daughter Allison; son Bennjamin of Lincoln; sister-in-law Pam Baumann of Walnut Grove, MN; sister-in-law Rita Schall of Omaha, NE; sister-in-law Betty Fulton of Omaha, NE; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Dr. Becker was preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister; and two children William, Jr. and Mary.
