The digitized Norwegian records have her first name as Dåret or Dordi. Dordi Rolandsdatter married Lars Olsen on November 12th 1857 in Snåsa. Dordi was 26 years old and Lars was 46 years of age. Children born to Lars and Dordi on the Præstmoen/Vinje farm: 1. Ola Teodor Larsen Vinje 1858-1908 2. Olaf Roland Larsen Vinje 1860-1932 3. Sivert Bendik Larsen Vinje 1863-1901 4. Lorents Oluf Larsen Vinje 1867-1943 5. Tomas Edvard Larsen Vinje 1872-1944 Lars Olsen Vinje died in 1885. Sivert immigrated to America that year per church records to join Olaf who immigrated in 1882 per church records. Ship records and census records and church emigration records indicate Lorentz immigrated in 1888,Thomas and Dordi in 1891 and Ole in 1892. The 1900 census records that Sivert and Dordi both immigrated in 1885 which is a mistake. Dordi and Ole and Thomas are all recorded in the 1891 Norway census living on the Praestmoen farm. Norwegian ancestry records and US records document that the Vinje brothers were employed as carpenters in Norway but were farmers in Bottineau county. Ole Vinje had started a construction business after returning from Norway and selling his farm near Bottineau. Dordi and all five sons had homesteads near Bottineau. Dordi's homestead patent was issued on January 14,1899. The 1900 US census records Dordi living in the Sivert Vinje household in Pickering township. Dordi died on June 4th 1906.
