Description	:	Drury Vice died Thursday morning at the home of his grandson, Lawrence springer, near Greentown, his death being due to hurts received in a fall at an early hour Monday morning. Mr. Vice was injured by falling down stairs at the home of his relative, where he had been in the company with Mrs. Vice. Read More	Drury Vice died Thursday morning at the home of his grandson, Lawrence springer, near Greentown, his death being due to hurts received in a fall at an early hour Monday morning. Mr. Vice was injured by falling down stairs at the home of his relative, where he had been in the company with Mrs. Vice. His hurts were such that members of the family were no given much encouragement for his recovery. Mr. Vice was a native of Kentucky, having been born in Bath county, July 19, 1941. He was the son of Martin Vice and Jahazy Barber Vice, also a native of Kentucky. When he was 21, he left his native state and came to Indiana locating at Windfall in 1862. He found employment with the late James Fouch being employed in a saw mill. In November 1863, he enlisted in the army. He served until the spring of 1865 when he was discharged, On his return to this area his hard work made him a prominent business man. He was elected treasurer of Tipton county in 1882 and served for two years. Mr. vice was married on July 21, 1862, to Miss Anna E Wall, of Wilmington, Ohio, she being a teach in the schools of the county at that time. Her death took place in My, 1866, there being two children by this marriage, they being Eugene M and Estella. The second marriage of Mr. Vice was to Miss Elizabeth J. Nutter, in May, 1867. One child was born to them, Nellie M.
