Description	:	Duane Lloyd Lehrman, resident of Yakima since 1988, passed away March 21, 2009, peacefully at home, after a long, courageous battle of Myelofibrosis, a rare disease of the bone marrow. Duane and his identical twin brother, Wayne, were born to Albert and Emily (Brownfield) Lehrman on March 20, 1938, in Oroville, WA, joining their sister, Lorraine. Duane and his identical twin brother, Wayne, were born to Albert and Emily (Brownfield) Lehrman on March 20, 1938, in Oroville, WA, joining their sister, Lorraine. They had an idyllic childhood growing up and playing on Lake Osoyoos. Duane graduated from Oroville High School in 1956. Following graduation, he attended Wenatchee Valley College and Kinman Business University in Spokane, where he received an Agriculture and Business Administration Degree. He and Doris Jean Lyda were married in Wenatchee, WA on June 21, 1958. They made their home in Oroville, where they farmed 80 acres of orchard and their three sons, Leonard Duane, Wesley Lloyd and Mark Dean, were born. They remained in Oroville until 1976, when Duane began his career with USDA Federal Crop Insurance, which took them to Ephrata, Spokane and Yakima. He retired from USDA in 1999, and shortly thereafter, began working as a Regional Sales Manager for a private crop insurance company, until illness forced his retirement in January, 2009. Duane professed to serve God as a child and has been committed to this profession throughout his life. He enjoyed the privilege of having a worship service in his home for over 20 years. Duane enjoyed restoring antique cars, hunting, fishing, woodcutting, making and eating ice cream and time spent with his sons and grandchildren. His parents, Albert and Emily Lehrman; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Claude Lyda and Lorraine Lyda Stockwell, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris of the home; sons, Leonard (Paula) Lehrman of Choctaw, OK and Wesley (Nancie) Lehrman and Mark Lehrman, all of Yakima, WA; father-in-law, Harold Stockwell of Everett, WA; grandchildren, Ashley and Kalie Lehrman of Colorado Springs, CO, Nathan and Jordan Lehrman of Yakima, WA and Kodel and Kelsi Lehrman of Wenatchee, WA; sister, Lorraine (LaMar) Wolley of Oroville, WA; twin brother, Wayne (Sandra) Lehrman of Brewster, WA; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and special friends. A very special thank you to Dr. Tony Ha and the North Star Lodge staff for the wonderful care they gave Duane. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2009, and Friday, March 27, at Keith & Keith 9th Ave Chapel in Yakima, WA. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2009, Davis High School Auditorium, 210 S. 7th Avenue (parking on 7th Avenue), Yakima, WA 98902, with a reception to follow. Committal services and burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2009, at West Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to North Star Lodge c/o Keith & Keith Funeral Home, 902 W.
